The GLC300-TC41-24V is a graphic logic controller/ HMI. This is part of the Pro-Face GLC 300 series. The front panel of this unit is a TFT-type color LCD screen with a touch panel overlaid on top. This unit can be used either as a stand-alone system where the unit is connected through an expansion unit to I/O devices, or it can be connected to a PLC. The unit can also be attached to both PLC and I/O devices through an expansion unit at the same time. The GLC300-TC41-24V is cUL compliant when installed properly. It also meets UL508 and UL1604 codes. Additionally, the unit is CE marked and has a protection rating of IP65f. The unit can be connected to a bus conversion unit, a memory loader, a PLC, or a personal computer. The unit is designed for panel mounting. This unit is typically installed horizontally. If you are going to install this unit vertically, the power terminal block should be oriented upwards. The rear panel of this unit includes a power input terminal block, an auxiliary I/O for a system alarm, buzzer, and run output signals as well as remote reset input signals, an RS-232C/RS-422 serial interface port, a printer interface, and a tool connector designed to accept a data transfer cable, memory loader, or bar code, reader. The GLC300-TC41-24V uses a 24 VDC input.
