Overview

The GLC2600-TC41-24V is a combination HMI + PLC from Pro-face/Xycom's Graphic Logic Controller series. This unit has standard functionalities of a PLC along with a 12.1 inch HMI display. The GLC2600-TC41-24V has interface options such as a FLEX network communication unit while also having a clear, bright TFT color display.

HMI/PLC Features

The GLC2600-TC41-24V has touchscreen capability. The display has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and an effective display area of 246 mm x 184.5 mm. It offers 256 no-blink colors and 64 3-speed blink colors. This display is backlit by a user-replaceable CCFL with a service life of at least 50K hours. The brightness of this backlight is adjustable to 4 different levels using the touch panel. The GLC2600-TC41-24V has 4 MB of flash EPROM application memory and 256 KB of SRAM data backup memory. The unit has control memory of 128 KB FEPROM for the program area and 64 KB SRAM for the variable area.

The FLEX network interface of the GLC2600-TC41-24V has the potential to connect up to 63 nodes. This interface uses cyclic time division, half-duplex communication formatting and multi-drop connection formatting. This system uses an n:1, multi-link connection.

The GLC2600-TC41-24V requires a 24V DC input voltage in a range of 19.2 to 28.8V. It has a power consumption of 50 watts or less and an allowable voltage drop of 10 milliseconds or less.
