The GLC2500-TC41-200V is a human-machine interface designed to give the user more of a PLC operating experience. This is part of the Pro-Face s GLC 2000 series, which offers integrated one-box solutions for the industrial floor. This is a full-featured operator interface and controller capable of machine monitoring, report generation, audio output, and bar code reader support. The GLC2500-TC41-200V has a 10.4 touch panel fronting the unit. This screen has a 640 x 480 resolution and offers 256 colors on its TFT LCD screen. The GLC2500-TC41-200V includes multiple interface ports, including two Serial COM ports, 10BaseT Ethernet, a tool connector, CF Card interface, and an expansion interface. The unit also has a single Flex Network interface designed for connection to Flex Network Distributed I/O's. This unit is 7.72 pounds or less and has external dimensions of 12.48 x 9.57 x 2.28 inches. The GLC2500-TC41-200V is UL approved, c-UL approved, and CE Marked. These are contingent on the unit being installed properly in a vertical panel so it will cool naturally, at least 100 mm away from other machine parts or structures. As shipped, the rear face of the unit does not meet approval requirements as an enclosure. Additionally, the unit must be used in indoor locations only.
