The GLC2400-TC41-24V-M from ProFace Xycom is a color 7.4 inch TFT touch panel HMI unit. The unit is capable of secured data collection and sharing like recipes trending, security, data logging, and alarm management. It can also provide data sharing via the Internet, its CF Card, or Ethernet connectivity. The HMI is built with multiple interface points including two COM ports that allow for connections to temperature controllers, PLCs, PCs, or barcode readers. The GLC2400-TC41-24V-M is designed with a 256-color display with a 3-speed blink. Color switching is done via software. The display is backlit by a replaceable CCFL with a service life of 50K hours or more. The HMI offers 4 levels of brightness adjustment through touch panel balancing. The unit s two COM ports have a minimum data transmission rate of 2400 baud. Other interfaces include a CF Card, an expansion interface, an Ethernet port, and a tool connector port.
