The GLC150-BG41-RSFL-24V is Type C distributed I/O graphic controller. This unit is built with a small (5.7 inch) blue and white display. It also has an FN port and an RS-232/422 interface. This unit is UL approved and CE marked. The GLC150-BG41-RSFL-24V is built with a front panel display touch screen that will allow users to see their data and will also display controller information. The touch panel allows for touch-initiated screen changes and will allow the user to send data to controllers. The front panel also includes a single status LED. The back and side panels include a power input terminal block, an external serial RS-232C/RS-422 interface for connections to a controller, a tool connector, a run/stop switch, and alarm output, and a flex network connector with its own LED. This LED will indicate when communications are normal and when an error is occurring within the connected I/O unit. The flex network interface is designed with six pins. These allow for a shielded line and for communication data. The flex network has specific optional I/Os available. Pro-Face has a FLex Network User Manual with additional information about these options. This LogiTouch panel uses a DC24V input. Using a different power level can lead to damage to the LogiTouch unit as well as to the attached power supply. The plastic cover should always be reattached over the terminal block after completing any wiring job. This is to prevent possible electric shock or damage to the equipment.
