The APL3700-TD-CD2G from Pro-face is a 15-inch industrial-level touch-panel PC. It has a Windows XP Pro operating system loaded onto an Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz CPU. The APL3700-TD-CD2G has a solid-state drive designed for increased realiability and faster data access. If necessary, the APL3700-TD-CD2G allows the user to hotswap an HDD unit while the unit is running and powered up. The APL3700-TD-CD2G also is designed with software mirror functionality which writes user data to 2 HDDs at the same time without any load to the CPU. This allows for a perfect data backup without an extra step.
The APL3700-TD-CD2G comes with 1GB memory standard but is expandable to 4GB. It has 64MB of video memory. The screen is a 15-inch TFT LCD 1024 x 768 pixel XGA display with 262,144 possible colors. Resistive film is used for the touchscreen.

The APL3700-TD-CD2G comes with 2 PCI slots, a DVD-RW drive, and a 250 GB Hard drive. It is designed for DC24V input. The APL3700-TD-CD2G is cooled by forced air cooling via a system fan and a CPU fan. It is important for the user to leave sufficient space for air circulation during installation. Operating temperature for this unit is between 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity.
