The APL3700-TA-CM18 is a Pro-face industrial PC manufactured with a 15-inch touch-panel. The APL3700-TA-CM18 may be used as both a PC and as an on-demand touch-screen HMI, which gives the user expanded hardware and data connectivity options. The unit allows third-party applications to run concurrently and is compatible with Pro-face and Xycom flat panel monitors.
The APL3700-TA-CM18 has been designed with a solid-state drive (SSD) that allows for faster data access and increases reliability. It also has a software mirror function that will write data to 2 HDDs simultaneously with zero load to the CPU. This allows for perfect data backup. Another feature of the APL3700-TA-CM18 is its HDD hotswap, which allows the user to exchange an HDD with the unit powered up and running.

The APL3700-TA-CM18 is designed with a 100-240V power supply. Rated voltage range is AC85 to 264V with a rated frequency of 50/60Hz. It is cooled via forced air cooling and by the CPU fan. Electrostatic immunity via contact discharge method 6kV (IEC/EN 61000-4-2 Level 3.) The ambient operating temperature is 5 to 50 degree Celsius with HDD and 0 to 50 degrees Celsius without HDD.
