The APL3700-TA-CD2G is a 15-inch industrial touch-panel PC manufactured by Pro-face. It has been designed with an Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz CPU and is supported by a Windows XP Pro operating system. The APL3700-TA-CD2G has been designed with an SSD solid-state drive for faster data access and increased reliability. The APL3700-TA-CD2G has a software mirror function, which writes data to 2 HDDs simultaneously without any load to the CPU, providing perfect data backup. The APL3700-TA-CD2G also allows for a hotswap of an HDD unit without stopping the device or even turning the power off.
Standard 1GB memory is expandable to 4GB. Video memory is 64MB (UMA type,) and the graphics resolution on the 15-inch TFT color LCD display is XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) with up to 262,144 colors. The touchscreen is resistive film.
The APL3700-TA-CD2G has 1 rear RAS (9-pin) socket connector. It has available sound through a 3.5 mm mini-pin jack connector. There are 4 2.0 compatible USB ports on the rear of the unit, and one on the front. The rear of the unit also has 2 LAN ports (RJ-45 type modular jack connector with 8-pins) capable of 10base-t/100base-tx/1000base-t. Finally, there are 4 serial COM ports, RS-232C, D-sub 9-pin plug, two that are RI/+5V switchable, and one that is RS-422/RS-485 switchable.
The APL3700-TA-CD2G is designed for an input of AC100/240V. The allowable voltage drop for the APL3700-TA-CD2G is 1 cycle or less. Voltage endurance is rated AC1500V 20mA for 1 minute between charging and FG terminals. Insulation resistance is rated DC500V 10MΩ(min) between charging and FG terminals.
