The APL3700-KD-CM18 is a Pro-face industrial 15-inch touch-panel PC designed with an integrated keypad and with a mouse. The APL3700-KD-CM18 is built on an Intel Celeron M 1.8GHz CPU with Windows XP Pro supported OS. This PC comes standard with 1 GM of memory that is expandable to 4 GB, a 60 GB hard drive, 2 PCI slots, and a DVD-RW drive. The APL3700-KD-CM18 is designed to be RoHS conforming and to allow the end-user the option to have a PC that also acts as an on-demand touch-screen HMI. The APL3700-KD-CM18 is compatible with Pro-face and Xycom flat panel monitors and runs third-party applications like SPC, vision, SCADA, and MRP concurrently.
The APL3700-KD-CM18 is designed with a 15-inch TFT Color LCD display with 262,144 color options. The actual display area is 12.06 inches x 9.06 inches, with a graphics display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Video memory runs to 64MB (UMA type.) The touch-screen is analog resistive film.
The APL3700-KD-CM18 has the following ports available: four serial COM ports (RS-232C D-sub 9 pin,) 5 USB ports (2.0 compatible, 4 in the rear of the unit, 1 in the front,) 2 LAN ports (RJ-45 with 8-pins, capable of 10base-t/100base-tx/1000base-t (1),)1 RAS Remote Health Monitor 9-pin socket, and 1 3.5 mm mini-pin jack connector.
The APL3700-KD-CM18 is rated for an input of DC24V (DC19.2 to 28.8V.) Be sure during installation the surrounding temperature and ambient humidity are within specified ranges (32 to 122 degrees F, and 10-90% RH.) If installing the PL into a panel or enclosure the surrounding air temperature refers to both the panel face and the enclosure's internal temperature.
