This data gateway module (designated Manufacturer Part Number L5210-DHP-02) is an integrated piece of firmware developed by Eurotherm Solid State Drives. Its design permits the operator to pass information between a DHP network and a LINK network. The information passed between the networks is entirely dependent upon a configuration created and installed using the LINK software tool ConfigEd (Configuration Editor).
The L5210-DHP-02 data gateway consists of a passive backplane that fits into a panel mount accessory, capable of interacting with a switched mode power supply. The switched power supply allows a nominal amount of voltage in the wide range from 80 to 260 volts of alternating current, and has an alternating current fuse for protection, that reaches up to 1 ampere.
Earlier versions of the L5210-DHP module could only be powered by a alternating current power supply with a voltage of up to 115. Earlier versions may be identified by a L5210-DHP-01 manufacturer part number, so make sure to double check if your part needing repair has the “02” identifying suffix. Both versions have three main standard components: the LINK Interface card, the DHP Interface card, and the CPU card. Together, these three cards provide a way to run this data gateway module's firmware successfully.
