Product Description

The 6055-L-00 is a Parker Eurotherm 24 V LINK TechBox Drive. This TechBox is no longer receiving any type of support from Parker Eurotherm. AX Control does attempt to keep this module in stock even though it has become difficult to locate.  

The 6055-L-00 is a part of a fiber-optic network that can be monitored by a standard PC. It has a snap-on installation, stand-alone processing with built-in macros, and an auxiliary power supply that can serve as a network backup. It is a compact device being 5” tall, 3” wide, and 1” thick.

There is a black ethernet connection that runs from the TechBox and plugs into a PC. There is a blue transmit fiber optic cable connection and a black receive fiber optic cable connection. The fiber optic cable can be run from a blue connection on the 6055-L-00 to a black connection on another TechBox or a TechCard. For this connection to work properly, the connection loop must be closed. The green connection port on the TechBox is for external power. Next to the product label on the TechBox is an external power jumper connection. This jumper is typically set in the internal power position which is the factory standard. It is recommended for the user to keep the jumper in this position unless the TechBox is using a 24 VDC power source. On the bottom of the module is a pin connection. There are air vents on the TechBox that helps airflow into the internal circuitry of the module.
