About the GV6K-U3E

The GV6K-U3E was manufactured by Parker as part of the Gemini GV6K Servo Drive Controllers series. This series is an advancement from the Gemini GV and Gemini GV6 series that have also been manufactured by Parker. The GV6K-U3E offers a full motion control solution and flexibility to users. 

GV6K-U3E Hardware Tips and Specifications

The GV6K-U3E can be used with a variety of motors, including both brushless servo and linear servo motors from Compumotors. There are several series listed for each of these motor types in the GV6K-U3E_Datasheet that can be found under the "Manuals" tab on this part page. Referencing this section can help determine if the unit can be used with specific motor series. 

The GV6K-U3E can programmed and configured using the RS232/485 port that it has. The GV6K-U3E also has another serial port that is an RS232 port. The GV6K-U3E also has a variety of I/O points onboard. Some of these are:

• Digital inputs 
• Digital outputs 
• Analog input 
• Relay output 

There is also an expandable I/O with up to an additional 256 discrete digital I/O points or 64 analog I/O points. There can also be a combination of digital and analog points. These points allow for connections to be made to the GV6K-U3E.
