About the 8903/SP

The 8903/SP is a Peer-to-Peer Communications Option for the AC890 drives from Parker and SSD Drives. This option can be fitted into the Common Bus Drive, Standalone Drive, and High Power Drive from the 890 series. 

The 8903/SP can connect DSE to all the drives in the system. The option also has peer-to-peer data exchange with other drives. There are several restrictions that the 8903/SP has. These are:

  • Must be fitted in Slot B
  • Option 8903/CB cannot be used 
  • Option 8903/DN cannot be used 

The 8903/SP is also compatible with multiple 890 firmware types. These versions are:

  • Version 1.11 onward
  • Version 3.3 onward 
  • Version 4.1 onward
