About the 8903/RS

The 8903/RS is an RS485 Communications Option from the AC890 Series. This option was manufactured by Parker and SSD Drives for use with Common Bus Drives, Standalone Drives, and High Power Drives. The option has a 2-Wire RS485 port to allow for external communications. 

The 8903/RS has several features that are notable:

  • Slave Modbus RTU Protocol
  • Two LEDs for status and activity 
  • Up to 256 DSE input/output registers
