About the 8903/LN

The 8903/LN is a LINKnet Communications Interface Option from the AC890 series by Parker and SSD Drives. The 8903/LN can be used with Common Bus Drives (CD), Standalone Drives (SD), and High Power Drives (PX). This option can also be used with a Grid Tie Inverter. 

The 8903/LN has several notable features and uses. Some of these are:

  • Supports EtherNet/IP communications 
  • Supports Modbus/TCP communications
  • Supports Modbus UDP/IP Master communications 
  • Serves as a direct replacement for the 8903/FA FireWire option card

The 8903/LN can be fitted in either Slot A or Slot B, but not both at the same time. If this option is fitted in Slot B, the following cards cannot be fitted into Slot A:

  • 8903/IP
  • 8903/IM
  • 8903/PN
  • 8903/CT
