The KV-E16TP allows for a flexible layout, meaning this unit can be mounted up to three-hundred (300) mm away from the adjacent unit. The KV-E16TP has a common output. The COM is connected internally. It has a rated load voltage of thirty VDC and a rated output voltage of 24 VDC +/- 10%
The KV-E16TP has a current leakage while OFF of one-hundred μA max. The KV-E16TP has a residual voltage while turned ON of (0.8) V max. The rising operation time of the unit from OFF to ON is fifty μs max. The falling operation time of the unit from ON to OFF is two-hundred and fifty μs max.

The KV-E16TP is a small black expansion unit. It has a small black and white wiring harness on the left. The unit has two white buttons on the left side labeled "CH". The top has been labeled in purple reading C1 0-3 and then C2 4-7, with an OUT port on the top right.
Along the bottom is labeled in purple reading C3 8-11 and C4 12-15, with an OUT port along the bottom.
The KV-E16TP also has seventeen LED lights. The LED lights numbered 0-15 light up RED. The final LED light lights orange and reads READY/ERROR.
