The Keyence KV-D20 is an LED light interface panel. The KV-D20 panel features customized lamps, an LCD display, customized switches, setting operation switches, a communication port in the rear side, and a bit guide.
The KV-D20's customized lamps have special utility relays assigned to them. The LED illuminates when the corresponding relay turns on. The LCD display of the KV-D20 displays up to twenty (20) character comments that described the ladder programs or displays all devices used in the KV unit.
The KV-D20 comes with customized switches. Each has an assigned to special utility relays. When the corresponding switch is turned on the relay turns on.
The setting operation switches on the KV-D20 changes the screen display.
The communication port located in the rear of the KV-D20 is used to connect to the KV unit. The communication port supplies the KV-D20 with power.
The bit guide of the KV-D20 shows the corresponding number of each bit on the KV-I/O monitor screen, the operator screen, or the 8-bit ON / OFF indication in the device mode.
The KV-D20 acquires power from the communication port in the rear and is a 5 VDC power supply. The current consumption is a 5 VDC with a 180mA max (60 mA max when converted for 24 V).
The insulation resistance is 50 MΩ min (between the power terminal and housing measured with 500 VDC megohmmeter). The ideal environment for the KV-D20 is free of excessive dust, dirt, and corrosive gases. When KV-D20 display weighs approximately 160 grams.
