KV-40AT has 24 inputs and 16 transistors that are sink outputs. This base unit can be found in a small, compact programming logic controller. With the built-in display screen, the KV-40AT makes this unit apart of the Visual KV series. Unfortunately, the KV-40AT is a discontinued model. The model by Keyence is an alternating current type of power supply type base unit. There is an outage time that will only allow no more than 40 ms from the KV-40AT. 100 to 240 VAC or 10% of the input power is supplied by voltage to KV-40AT. No more than 120 mA can be consumed by the internal current for the KV-40AT. The operational panel and expansion unit can be installed on the KV-40AT. The manual can help with installing programming and software for the KV-40AT PLC. KV-40AT withstands amounts of voltage and shock. The shock resistance for the KV-40AT happens 2 times within each of 3 axial directions and conforms to 150 m/s^2 or 15 G. There is an insulation resistance of 50 MΩ or greater, the KV-40AT was tested with a 500 VDC megger, between the power supply terminal and the input terminal and between all the external terminals and the case. Intermittent vibrations can be resisted by the KV-40AT at a frequency of 10 to 57 Hz, if the amplitude is at 0.075 mm*1 and if the acceleration is at 9.8 m/s^2*1.
