The CA-CN5 cable is part of the Keyence Visual KV Series. The CA-CN5 cable is designed to be used with a camera and is classified by Keyence Corporation as a “Standard-speed camera cable.” The CA-CN5 cable is manufactured by Keyence Corporation. AX Control has the CA-CN5 cable in refurbished form and possibly in new, never used condition from surplus stock available for a fast and easy purchase.
The CA-CN5 camera cable is a black, 5 m long cable. The cable has a thin metal connector on one end and a thick, wide connector attached to the other end.
The CA-CN5 is compatible with many different Keyence products, including the CV-5000, the XG-7000, the XG-8000, and the CVX100. Primarily, the CA-CN5 is designed for use with what Keyence Corporation calls “normal cameras.”
The Keyence Visual KV Series is a series of cameras and equipment for those cameras designed and manufactured by Keyence Corporation. The Visual KV Series cameras are extremely small, the smallest in the world among AC type PLCs equipped with screw terminal blocks, as well as saving installation space. Additionally, the Visual KV Series cameras are extremely fast; with a minimum scan time of 140 µs and a minimum instruction execution time of 0.7 µs, the Visual KV Series cameras have the fastest control in its class.
There are also advanced computing processes available with the Visual KV Series cameras. This includes a user message setting function, which allows 256 different user messages to be displayed in the Access Window, (which can be used to give instructions along the production line or indicate abnormalities in units, for example) and a cam switch function, which allows for high-speed counters to function with easy setting without creating complicated ladder programs.
