The KV-80TW is a part of a variety of mix and match-able PLCs offered by Keyence, a Japanese company offering the world’s smallest PLCs. This model has the ability to have a max of eighty (80) outputs and inputs, in order to customize what’s right for you. The KV-80TW can expand up to a maximum of one hundred and twenty-eight (128) I/O's, with up to eighty (80) inputs and eighty (80) outputs. The KV-80TW offers easy installation and space saving technology, with its compact design and easily accessible "IN" and "OUT" ports. The Windows Ladder Builder allows the KV-80TW to be programmed in an average of three thousand (3,000) steps. The two (2) analog timers allow for real-time adjustments to the program without ever having to shut down the machine. This allows for a more accurate calibration and a smoother transition. The twenty (20) kHz clock pulse timer also allows for easy positioning at any speed. The data in the KV-80TW is retained for a minimum of two (2) months by the capacitors. The KV-80TW also offers to retain programming for up to ten (10) years with no additional battery power. This model is also re-programmable with a minimum of fifty thousand (50,000) times. The optimum temperature of the KV-80TW is between thirty-two (32) through one-hundred and twenty-two (122) degrees Fahrenheit. In order to work properly, the KV-80TW cannot be allowed to freeze or collect any kind of condensation. The KV-80TW requires a twenty-four (24) VDC power source.
