The KV-80T is part of the Keyence KV Series of programmable logic controllers. This particular unit is part of the Conventional series rather than the Visual KV series. AX Control maintains onhand stock of both these series to better meet your needs. Unlike the Visual KV series, this unit does not have an LCD window that allows the user to access and see data locally.
The KV-80T allows data input through external devices like a keyboard or a mouse. Additionally, the unit can connect to a handheld device, a card reader, or to a personal computer. Up to four expansion units can be added to this model. However, it is important to understand that expansion units will need their own power supply. Expansion units are typically connected using extension cables.
The KV-80T is typically DIN-rail mounted. The unit has quick connect/disconnect locking mechanisms that make installation and replacement a simple issue.
The KV-80T uses a Ladder software program that allows users to write messages and instructions using simple to use protocols.
These units are designed for use in locations where temperatures remain above freezing at all times.
