KV-16R is a basic unit in the KV PLC series. This unit uses Windows-based programming software (KV-H6WE2) and a Handheld Programmer (KV-P3E) for device setup and monitoring. The programmer has an M-3 memory card that can store up to 48 programs. Up to four expansion units can be used with the KV-16R. Any combination of expansion units in the KV series can be used with this model.
The programming software used for this unit is Ladder Builder for KV, a Windows-based program used to create sequence programs. This user-friendly software allows for multi-file editing and has an auto-save function.
The KV-16R has two 10 kHz counters, both of which can handle counting high-frequency pulses. KV series units can also be used as pulse generators for stepping motors. Model KV-16R has a maximum clock frequency of 2 kHz.
The 24 VDC KV-16R has 10 inputs and 6 outputs, with 1 common input and 2 common outputs. This KV PLC model has one analog timer. If you require two analog timers, see models KV-80, KV-40, and KV-24.
