The CV-3002P is a standard model controller made and manufactured by the KEYENCE Corporation for the CV-3000 series of cameras and camera equipment.
The CV-3002P is a large, rectangular-shaped controller. Toward the top of the controller, there is a small slot for a memory card. The memory card for these controllers have 1 gigabyte of memory and is capable of saving up to one thousand programs simultaneously. Below the memory card is a USB 2.0 terminal that can allow for a quick transfer of image data and various other settings from your PC to the controller. Below that is a 232C communication port, where either a PC or a PLC can be connected directly. Below that, there is an ethernet port where a PC can be connected. There is a large I/O terminal to the left that is made to connect directly to a KEYENCE PLC. On the right side of the CV-3002P controller, there are two ports where cameras can be connected. To add two additional camera ports, a CV-E300 camera expansion unit can be connected directly to the CV-3002P controller on the right side via a large connection port. Above these two camera ports lies a large port where an RGB monitor can be connected. Lastly, the console port is located right above this RGB monitor port.
