The HE693TCR050 is a Horner Electric designed Data Access Unit within Series 90-30. This module is no longer being supported by Horner and may be a little hard to find. AX Control does try to keep it in stock.
The HE693TCR050 has an LCD display with 8 keys that are labeled fast, zero, modify, I/O, TRC, enter, and two arrow scroll keys. On the bottom of this module are two female connectors. One is an RS-232 and the other is an RS-485 connector. This module is powered through one of its communication ports. The LCD display has 2 lines of text with a maximum of 40 characters (20 characters per line). These characters are .375” tall. This module’s dimensions are 3.5” X 6” X 2.12”. It is 5 VDCs and 250 mA. It has a fixed baud rate of 19200. It has an operating temperature between 0 to +60 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity between 5-95%. This module does not have the ability to be programmed by the user. All of its settings are already predetermined by the original manufacturer.
The HE693TCR050 is in a NEMA 4/12 rated enclosure. This enclosure is dust/drip-tight and should be used for inside applications. Behind the faceplate on the module’s display are 4 screws. There is a screw in each of the corners of the display panel. These can be used to mount the unit to a panel or flat metallic surface. There are a few ways to connect the communications cables. This unit can be connected to a SNP port, to a CMM port 1, and/or a CMM port 2.
