Product Description

HE693OIU152 is a panel-mounted Operator Interface Unit that is manufactured by Horner APG for the HE693OIU series. This OIU has a power requirement of 100 mA at 24 VDC. If there is nothing on the vacuum fluorescent display, the power supply must be incorrectly connected or inoperative, the display brightness may be too low, or the module may be in AUTORUN mode. If the OIU is not communicating with the PLC, the communication cable may be improperly connected or defective, the RS485 Set-up parameters may not match that of the PLC, levels 1 and 2 of the PLC password protection may not be disabled, the CPU ID may not be set to null, or there may be more than one slave PLC on the communications network. A level 1 password restricts access to screens above the High User Screen Number. A level 2 password restricts access to the OIU Setup Mode and can also be used to access screens above the High User Screen Number.

An external power supply must be used if the OIU is located more than 10 feet from the PLC. The user can define up to 250 custom screens on this unit. In AUTORUN mode, there is a decimal base, a hexadecimal base, and a binary base.
