HE693OIU150 is a Horner APG Operator Interface Unit that is manufactured for the HE693OIU series. The 24 VDC power requirements are 250 mA. The DC power on the current surge is 1.5 amps/50 ms. The operating temperature should be 0 to 60°C. The menu selections on the OIU include: Access PLC Data, Cfg Screens, Cfg Text Tables, Cfg Func Key, Cfg Float Scale, Cfg High Screen, Cfg passwords, Cfg LEd Reg, Cfg Expansion Reg, Cfg Trigger Reg, Cfg CPU Address, Cfg Com Port, Cfg Prn Port, Adjust Display, Set Clock, Enter AUTORUN, Hand-held prg, and Run Self Test.
The Operator Interface Unit comes with the following items: the assembled OIU module, mounting hardware, the user instruction manual, an optional back panel shroud, an optional six foot cable assembly for connection to a Series 90 PLC, and a Host Programming Package with a diskette and a programming cable. Once the interface is panel mounted, it must be isolated from severe vibration. The OIU chassis must be grounded to a good earth ground. A rear cover must be installed to protect the OIU from radio frequency interference. User proper communications cable and wiring techniques and properly route the power wiring. The Genius OIUs have 6-position dip switches which generally do not require modification from the factory default. The OIU includes a backlit display, 12 function keys, a programming/printer port (RS232), an SNP communications port (RS485), a 32 position metal dome tactile feel keypad, and a gasketed NEMA 4-12 panel with an overlay.
