The HE800STP100 is a Stepper Positioning Module created by Horner Electric. This module has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is considered to be obsolete. AX Control still maintains this item as a reconditioned or new surplus stock part.
The HE800STP100 was created for the SmartStack HE800 series. It is specifically as Stepper Positioning Module which is used to interface with a variety of motors, encoders, and limit switches in the Operator Control Station. This module has many basic features that include emergency stop input, manual jogging, single-axis motions, and an automatic ramp-down calculation that helps with deceleration. This device has both Isolated and Differential inputs as well as a Differential output. It is recommended that you use Cscape software to monitor and configure the HE800STP100’s I/O.
The HE800STP100 has a trapezoidal motion profile, using different velocities to start and stop. This module provides three LED indicator lights to monitor the velocity of the motor. The red light means the motor has stopped, the yellow means the motor is speeding up or slowing down, and the green light means the motor is at its running velocity.
