The HE 500 lineup was developed as an Operator Control Station series, each of them with a wide combination of specifics across the possible specifications for these products. This series was manufactured by Horner Electric. However, since the HE 500 OCS series is no longer in production (due to other, more advanced models being developed afterwards and their subsequent classification as outdated, obsolete materials), the company had even renamed themselves to Horner APG.
These HE 500 models are all in one units that are built with the elements of a trio of industrial devices. These units are designed with an integrated operator interface, eliminating the need to purchase an individual module. These models also eliminate the need for a for a controller module, due to the HE 500’s superior programming and software capabilities. These models are also integrated with a set of advanced Input and Output modules. These I/O modules range from standard download and serial I/O ports, to a set of I/O modules that are able to successfully connect to SmartStack I/O Expansion attachments.
The HE500TIU111E module is a terminal interface unit of the HE 500 line. This unit is built with a high quality, high intensity LCD (liquid crystal display) graphic interface, and an intense backlight unit. The model is designed to utilize the backlight in two methods, either a full lighting display, or, lighting up the display by each character.
For variations of the graphic display, there’s up to 300 programmable screens for this model, allowing for significant monitoring and controlling capabilities.
