HE500TIU100
The HE 500 line from the industrial manufacturer Horner Electric is a large, wide array of all in one Operator Control Station units. These units are, of course, outdated, regarded as obsolete, and out of production. Horner Electric have since rebranded their name as Horner APG.
The HE 500 line of Operator Control Stations is designed to be compatible with a wide range of manufacturing equipment and products. These units are versatile modules, able to interface and support with over 100 different brands of programmable logic controllers, drives, and other peripheral technology devices. These units are designed with an integrated operator interface, to eliminate the need of purchasing a separate unit of equipment. The controller protocols are uploaded onto the unit as software capabilities, thus also eliminating the need for a programmable logic controller drive. The input and output modules of the unit are, as with most industrial equipment, are integrated into the frame itself.
The HE500TIU100 model, however, is a terminal interface unit, and is built with a high performance, high quality LCD (liquid crystal display). The graphics are lit up by an intensely powered backlight system, which allows the model to choose between lighting the individual characters displayed on the model’s system, or be able to light the entire full graphic display.
The HE500TIU100 model is able to network with the CsCAN Profibus DeviceNet network.
