The HE 500 series of Operator Control Stations were manufactured by the industrial automation producers Horner Electric. The HE 500 models were designed as cost effective, compact, and effective devices in place of three separate individual pieces of hardware.
The HE 500 line overall was built with an integrated operator interface unit, which is the most important part of the hardware attachments of these OCS models. The Input and Output modules of the HE500OCX003A6 are built as a modules that are able to connect to the SmartStack Expansion module. These expansion modules are fully capable of connecting to this unit via wireless connection, and by a fiber optic cable connection. The HE500OCX003A6 is a model that is outfitted with a liquid crystal image display, which is outfitted with a thin film transistor.
