HE500OCS451D
This model of the Horner Electric series of Operator Control Stations is designated as the HE500OCS451D module. This unit is one of the more advanced designs, which was based on the OSC300 category of the HE 500 models, outfitted with a full color, resistive touch screen unit.
This unit averages at 8.4 inches (213.36 mm) in size, and is designed internally with a thin film transistor module. Also included in this model’s lighting system is an advanced, adjustable, and high intensity backlight set. This ensures that the unit can be operated by users who may be working in a work area that is incredibly brightly lit. Underneath this touch screen is a set of 6 physical keys, most of which are configurable to the user’s needs, while one is dedicated.
These models of the HE 500 units are capable of interfacing with Input and Output modules in a more extensive, streamlined, and advanced manner. The HE500OCS451D and similarly built models are designed to interface with a SmartStack I/O Expansion module.These Expansion modules can be connected physically, with a fiber optic cable, or be connected wirelessly and remotely, within a range of up to 10 meters.
For other types of entry ports, this unit also includes a set of RS-232 serial ports, and one CAN network port.
The HE500OCS451D module runs successfully with a nominal intake of 24 volts of direct current, or 450 milliamperes of energy.
