HE500OCS351
The HE 500 line from the manufacturers Horner Electric, is a series of Operator Control Stations. These OCS modules are designed to be all in one, comprehensive units. These units are built to do the duty of three separate devices: a controller module, an operator interface unit, and Input and Output modules.
The HE500OCS351 model listed above is a part of the HE 500 subdivision of OCS300 models. These units feature a new piece of equipment, a 5.7 inch (144.78 millimeter) touch screen. This model’s touch screen is is equipped with a thin film transistor display system, complete with an intense backlight unit. The backlighting is in place so that any users will be able to see, read and utilize the HE500OCS351, regardless of the brightness level of the external lighting. The operator interface that is featured on this unit’s screen is processed by its Video Graphic Array, at an image resolution of 320 by 240 pixels.
Beneath the touch screen however, is a set of six physical keys and buttons. Only one of these buttons are dedicated, while the other five are entirely configurable to whatever needs that the user has.
The HE500OCS351 model is outfitted with the capabilities to accommodate up to 20 individual SmartStack Input and Output Expansion modules. These modules have over 40 models to select from, and are fully functional within a range of 32.8 feet, or 10 meters. These expansion units can be mounted using dual fiber optic cables.
The OCS300 series is compatible with the Cscape programming software.
