HE500OCS350
This is the HE500OCS350 unit of the HE 500 series of Operator Control Stations. These OSC models were all manufactured and produced by the Horner Electric company, which is now known as Horner APG. The OCS300 subcategory of the HE 500 models is a more advanced series of products, all of which are designed and equipped with a 5.7 inch (144.78 millimeters) fully resistive touch screen unit.
The HE 500 models overall are all in one products: a single individual device that is built to achieve the same functions of an operator interface module, a controller unit, and an extensive Input/Output interface module set. Even with the additional 5.7 inch touch screen built in, the OCS300 division is designed as a compact piece of hardware. 7.2 inches in width, 5.5 inches in height, and 3 inches in depth.
The touch screen is completely resistive, and is able to display the graphics in full color, and then includes a thin film transistor (TFT) display, which is complete with a backlight unit to allow the touch screen to be read and utilized despite intense external lighting. The graphics are rendered in an image resolution of 320 by 240 pixels.
The graphics capabilities that are supported include user tools such as editable graphics, pilot lights, trending, and data display. The supported formats allow for animated bit maps, bar graphs, a symbol library, editable fonts, drawing tools, and alarms and sliders.
