The unit listed here is the HE500OCS210 of the Horner Electric lineup of Operator Control Station units, the HE 500 series. This series is designed as a line of all in one products. They are designed with the capabilities of a controller unit, an operator interface, an input and output module, and are able to network these functions into a seamless, cost effective, and easy to use piece of equipment.
The HE 500 series features a ladder based controlling system engine that is powered up by an Intel 296 processing module. The graphical display interface of these models are either more advanced graphic units, outfitted with either a thin film transistor or given a super twisted nematic display. This model, however, features one of the more rudimentary text displays, which is able to display two lines of text, with 20 characters in each lines. The 2 line, 20 character setup also includes a keypad comprised of 17 buttons, and makes it able for users to directly enter numeric data.
The HE 500 series has a wide range of input and output modules that are integrated into each of these units, ranging from the number of entry points and other electrical specifications and details. This unit is outfitted with four entry points that are attachments for expansion modules, offering even more input and output modules for data transfer and other technical uses.
