HE500OCS200X
This model of Operator Control Station belongs to the HE 500 series from Horner Electric. Horner Electric was in charge of the designing, manufacturing, and producing of the HE500OCS200X, listed on AX Control here, as well as the many other OCS units in the HE 500 lineup.
The HE 500 series of course, comes with a designed series of shared hardware features, fully integrated into the unit’s frame itself. These units include the combined features of a controller system, an operator interface with an operator control station.These models are often outfitted with a similar type of text display, which is built with a set of two lines of text, at 20 characters per line (40 in total). There are also more advanced graphical displays, with a thin film transistor or a super twisted nematic display.
The HE 500 series are designed with a ladder based control engine that’s outfitted with a high performance, high quality Intel 296 processor unit. This processing unit is able to provide the high speed rating that just as, if not more efficient, to a majority of the mid-sized programmable logic controllers.
The HE 500 series shares variations of input and output modules, but the HE500OCS200X model is outfitted with ports to allow for input and output expansion attachments. This model can support up to 4 I/O Expansion modules at a time.
