The device listed here is one of the several Horner Electric (or Horner APG, since their company rebranding) devices from the HE 500 lineup of Operator Control Stations. These OCS models are built with a standard array of features, with a graphic informational display, which is outfitted with a thin film transistor module, and are able to be integrated with a MicroSD memory card.
The HE 500 models are all in one piece of automation hardware, and are built to be more compact and cost effective than the two individual devices that achieve the duties that the OSC models do. While a PLC (programmable logic controller) module and an operator interface would do those jobs just fine, the HE 500 Operator Control Station has more than enough features to make it a better purchase than those two units.
The HE 500 graphic setup features a thin film transistor to render the graphic display in a perfect resolution, with a setup that allows for a unit to read in a workplace that’s very brightly light. The HE 500 models come with a physical control setup of a keypad and switches, and an indicator LED light array to inform users of any changes in network connection or in actions the device is taking.
The HE500OCS086 module is outfitted with a series of input and output modules, which is the defining detail of this series of products. For this unit, there are 8 direct current inputs (at 12 to 24 VDC) and 6 relay outputs (3.0 A).
