This unit is designated as the HE500OCS083 model of the Horner Electric HE 500 series. The manufacturer has since renamed their company name into Horner APG, and the HE 500 line of Operator Control Stations has become out of production. However, all of the inventory at AX Control has been completely refurbished to run at the highest grade of efficiency and successfully operate at the automation speeds of today.
The HE500OCS083 module is identified by its individual serial number, but can visually be identified by the number and design of the input and output modules that come integrated into its frame. This module is built with a set of 8 DC inputs (with 12 to 24 volts of direct current), and then 8 positive logic DC outputs (with 5 to 24 volts of direct current).
The standard graphic setup for the HE 500 Operator Control Station comes with a built in thin film transistor and is able to render the graphic display in high intensity lighting, letting users successfully operate the unit no matter the external lighting situation.
The HE 500 model is built with an application memory system that is entirely made up of a MicroSD memory card. This enables the model to be removed for transferring data, and can successfully store programming updates for the HE 500 model’s software.
