The HE 500 line of products is a set of Operator Control Stations, and the HE500OCS061 is one of those many models that were developed by the Horner Electric company. That company has since then renamed themselves as Horner APG, and, on top of that, the HE 500 line was taken out of production from Horner Electric.
The HE 500 series has numerous features that every unit is installed with or designed to integrate with. The graphic display and the physical keypad/status indicator LED lights is the most common feature in all of the HE 500 modules. This graphic interface is designed to allow operators to view the reports of the work in quick succession. These graphic setups are equipped with a TFT unit that display the image in such a manner that can be properly viewed, regardless of the intensity of the external light system of the workplace.
The HE 500 series often includes variations of the input and output modules that each unit is integrated with. The HE500OCS061 is built with 16 input and output modules in total, divided evenly between the two. The inputs run with a charge of 12 to 24 volts direct current, while the outputs are designed to be positive logic modules, with an intake of 5 to 24 V/DC, or 0.5 amps w/ESCP.
