The HE 500 set of Operator Control Stations was developed and produced by the Horner Electric company. This series of OCS units is one that has many models, and all of which have a set of specifications that make it unique in the lineup.
For the HE500OCS055 module, it’s the input and output modules that come integrated into the frame. There are 16 in total, a fairly standard number of I/O ports. They are divided equally into 8 inputs and 8 outputs, which again, is standard. But then, the direct current that the input modules require is between 12 to 24 volts of DC, and then 5 to 24 V/DC. 0.5 amperes with ESCP is also an acceptable intake for this model’s outputs.
The HE 500 series is equipped with a similar set of features. Most notably, is the graphical display that is outfitted with a thin film transistor, which is able to properly and effectively render the recording process for operators, even while in an incredibly brightly lit work area. Under the graphic interface is a series of physical keys and switches, as well as a set of LED indicator lights for status and action updates.
