About the UR-THB
The UR-THB Vertical-Mount Universal Relay made for GE Vernova's UR Universal Relay Series has a series of diagnostic tests that it can trigger during a powered-off state. Some of these tests are its:
- Electrical fast transient test
- Oscillatory transient test
- Dielectric strength test
- Insulation resistance test
- Surge immunity test
- RFI susceptibility test
In addition to these various tests, the UR-THB Universal Relay here also has access to a Conducted RFI test, specifically adhering to the IEC 61000-4-6 test guidelines. This is a conformally-coated relay module.
UR-THB Environment
A specific environment is required for normal functionality of the UR-THB module. This environment necessitates:
- IEC 60028-2-1, 16 h at -40°C cold operating temperatures
- IEC 60028-2-2, 16 h at +85°C dry heat operating temperatures
- IEC 60068-2-30, 95%, Variant 1,6days humidity
In addition to these three IEC-identified environmental characteristics, the UR-THB Vertical-Mount Universal Relay is absolutely not meant to be operated at altitudes above 2000 meters.
