Frequently Asked Questions about UR-6GH
What is the difference between a GE Multilin Digital I/O Module UR-6GH Input Output Module for UR Series Universal Relays and a Digital I/O Module that has a 6V or a 6U order code instead of a 6G?
The different order codes of a GE Multilin Digital I/O input output module afford each I/O module with specific characteristics and features in regard to the input and output types, and whether or not any additional current or voltage monitoring capacity comes with the digital I/O module. The UR-6GH GE Multilin digital I/O module has the 6G order code. This order code option specifies that a universal relay that contains this module will obtain 8 Form-A outputs that have voltage and optional current monitoring features, and 8 digital inputs. In contrast, the 6V option code for a digital I/O module specifies the digital I/O module as having 2 Form-A outputs, a single Form-C output, 2 Form-A outputs that are latching but to not have monitoring features (voltage and current), with 8 digital inputs. For additional comparison of the Multilin products, the 6U option has 6 Form-A outputs and 4 digital inputs. These 6 Form-A outputs do not contain the additional monitoring capabilities of voltage or current.
