Frequently Asked Questions about UR-4LH
What type of digital I/O card does the UR-4LH have with use in providing contact inputs and outputs to universal relays of the Multilin UR series?
The GE Multilin UR-4LH module is a digital I/O module contained within various universal relays. The various types of I/O cards are Form C, Form A, Fast Form C, latching, and Solid State Relay options (SSR). These digital I/O cards can come with or without DC voltage, with or without current monitoring ability, and with or without isolated inputs that have an auto burnish characteristic. The Multilin UR-4LH is of the 4L order specification of digital I/O modules used for the UR series of universal relays. This order code specifies digital I/O cards that are Form A. The 4L I/O card has 14 outputs that are latchable. The 4L digital I/O specification for the I/O module UR-4LH does not come with additional monitoring capabilities such as current or voltage. The latchable feature is useful to replace the need for lockout relays or mechanical switches with the formation of a secure interlocking application. Form-A I/O digital modules are also beneficial because they provide the universal relay with activation speed generation of 4ms or less under wet or dry contact conditions.
