Equipped with advanced asset monitoring, General Electric Multilin’s T60-E00-HCH-F8F-H6T-M8F-PGT-UXX-W6T is a Transformer Management Relay. The microprocessor-based unit protects three-phase power transformers of any size, offering protective functions such as magnitude and phase shift compensation, instantaneous differential protection, and under/overfrequency protection. 

The Direct I/O messaging feature of the relay enables high-speed communication between different UR relays. It provides communication between up to 16 UR relays in either redundant or single rings. Direct/IO messaging functions can also be used in special protection schemes such as advanced interlocking and generation rejection. The relay also allows for real-time diagnostics of communication channels with its built-in continuous channel and loop monitoring abilities.

Required maintenance is minimal for the T60-E00-HCH-F8F-H6T-M8F-PGT-UXX-W6T relay. As a microprocessor-based relay, it does not experience a large amount of change over time. GE Multilin reports that the expected life of a Universal Relays device is approximately 20 years (if the device is manufactured more recently than June 2014).
