Part of General Electric Multilin’s Universal Relay series of products and equipped with a variety of communication options, the F35-G00-HCH-F8F-H6P-M8H-P6P-UXX-WXX is a Multiple Feeder Protection System designed to safeguard up to five feeders with busbar voltage measurement or up to six feeders without. 

The F35-G00-HCH-F8F-H6P-M8H-P6P-UXX-WXX works in tandem with Multilin’s EnerVista UR software program, which offers a single resource through which to maintain, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot relay functions. The program offers enhanced event viewing, file support, protection summaries, settings templates, FlexLogic review, and more. General Electric Multilin’s 1601-0106-AE1 user manual estimates that 90% or greater of system settings remain identical across different devices; as a result, the settings templates provide an ideal fit or near-ideal fit for most user settings. The protection summary window offers a streamlined user interface where elements can be easily managed. 

Multilin’s relay offers a variety of protective features for protecting feeders, including Wattmetric Ground Fault Protection, Autoreclosing, and Under/Overvoltage Protection. The wattmetric ground fault protection is a sensitive zero-sequence directional function that may be utilized on resonant or isolated grounded, solidly grounded, or low-resistance grounded systems to detect ground faults. It measures the direction and value of zero-sequence power and can sense both forward and reverse ground faults.

The  F35-G00-HCH-F8F-H6P-M8H-P6P-UXX-WXX is also capable of executing holistic device health diagnostic tests when it starts up and during run-time, assessing whether hardware and major functions are in working order. Continuous system monitoring helps provide insight into the multiple feeder system and reduces overall system downtime.
