GE Multilin’s C60-E00-HKH-F8L-H6E-M6C-PXX-UXX-WXX Breaker Protection System is an ideal unit for monitoring and controlling circuit breakers for substations and industrial automation purposes. This unit includes 8 Form-C Outputs and standard 4CT/4VT with enhanced diagnostics. Establishing itself as a complete integrated package that reduces or eliminates the need for extraneous equipment and wiring, the C60 offers metering, management, and protection capabilities. 

Multilin’s C60-E00-HKH-F8L-H6E-M6C-PXX-UXX-WXX provides a number of protective features that safeguard system components and prolong system life:

• Autorecloser: The C60’s autoreclosure feature enables it to open a circuit in the event of overcurrent conditions in order to protect the system. The recloser can then assess if safe conditions are restored, reclosing the circuit to resume typical operation. Protection settings are configurable, and the relay offers four different modes so that users can select the best option for their circuit breaker.

• Breaker Failure Protection: Multilin’s C60-E00-HKH-F8L-H6E-M6C-PXX-UXX-WXX can detect breaker failure and respond in real-time. The C60 offers two independent functions for breaker failure. Breaker failure protection operaties for both single and three-pole schemes.

• Overcurrent Protection: Overcurrent protection is available for neutral, phase, sensitive ground and ground faults. Standard protection curves are offered in addition to Multilin’s own FlexCurve technology. 

In addition to these protective features, the relay is equipped with monitoring and metering features to reduce troubleshooting when problems do occur. 

The C60-E00-HKH-F8L-H6E-M6C-PXX-UXX-WXX can also be used in tandem with other devices by employing its peer-to-peer connectivity, which is generally much cheaper than hardwiring devices together.
