The General Electric Multilin lineup of Motor Management units are designed to integrate applications that cover so many features of management: protection, control, automation, diagnostics, meter monitoring, and also includes several communication protocols that are in a rugged, hardy, compact piece of equipment. These models are designed as units to be integrated with NEMA rated and IEC Motor Control Centers. The MM300 units were developed to deliver superior protection and control in order to extend the lifespan of industrial equipment and efficiently maximize process uptime.
The key benefit of the MM300 series is their ability to run full-featured protection applications for low-voltage, alternating current motors. There are also automation applications as well, in order to provide customized protection and processing control.
The advanced FlexLogic networking system is implemented by the MM300 line in order to reduce the requirement for local programmable logic controllers in order for the motors to operate. This also reduces the need for application memory and processing space that is required through the integration of several individual devices to the motors.
The MM300 line is built for applications with low voltage, three phase AC motors, but is also able to cover MCC and stand alone panel mount applications. It is also able to cover reversing and reduced voltage applications, and efficiently manage automation processes like conveyor systems, or well recovery pumps.
