Product Description

The 369-HI-R-0-0-0-0-E is a motor protection relay that monitors, manages, and protects medium sized AC motors and their accompanying equipment. Part of General Electric Multilin’s 369 series, the 369-HI-R-0-0-0-0-E is an adaptive system, ‘learning’ motor needs and providing a number of proactive steps and measures to preserve system life and reduce associated costs. The relay’s metering capabilities include event reports, waveform captures, and startup data logging; all these features provide critical insight into system performance and can warn of impending failures.

Multilin’s 369-HI-R-0-0-0-0-E has an approximate width of 11 centimeters, an approximate height of 30 centimeters, and an approximate length of 21 centimeters. The 369-HI-R-0-0-0-0-E has an in-case weight of 10 lbs and an out-of-case weight of approximately 8 lbs. The device is mounted in the DEMO metal carry case which is quite durable in addition to being flame and corrosion-resistant. The relay should be mounted away from strong magnetic fields and high current conductors or it could sustain damage over time.

The front of the relay also includes an RS232 port to connect computers running GE Multilin’s industry-leading software, EnerVista 369. Connecting such a device allows for more rapid setpoint modification. Setpoints are configurable settings that determine behavior of the relay and can be adjusted for a specific motor system’s needs. The configuration of setpoints is easy with Enervista 369’s Motor Settings Auto-Configurator, which uses the motor’s nameplate and system information to generate an appropriate settings file. Users can then further customize the system through manual adjustments performed in the EnerVista program.
