The Multilin 169PLUS-100P-120 is a member of the Multilin 169 Plus family of management relays that are designed to provide protection for motors to ensure that they are performing well in light of variable load, supply, or operating conditions. Some features included in modern motor protection are rotor and stator thermal modeling, as an increase in thermal conditions can be detrimental for the motor’s performance. Thus a motor protection system, such as members of the GE Multilin 169 or 169 Plus is beneficial for the end user.
