Product Description

Model number 139-V-FLC was designed for the 139 Series Motor Protection Relay which can provide control for phase three motors; it is also typically compatible with three-phase AC motors to prevent any damage from occurring to the motor. The device can sound an alarm if any type of malfunction is going to occur to the motor to prevent any serious damage to either the motor or the user. 

So long as the 139-V-FLC relay is maintained properly it can diagnose a multitude of faults as well as verify that the motor is functioning as it should. Many of the features on this device include memory lockout, status indication, and trip/alarm outputs which are easily programmable using the selector switches on the relay. There are also internal switches that can also be used to program conditions for which the auxiliary relay contacts on this relay will activate. 

The V and FLC characters in the 139-V-FLC part number are typically used to indicate the mounting orientation of this relay as well as the output options.
