IC220PWR001 is a VersaMotion Power Terminal that is manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. Power Terminal modules supply power to the main circuit (UM). In addition, this module can be used to supply power for a segment circuit (US). The input voltage is 24 VDC, and the input voltage range is 19.2-30 VDC. The maximum current is 8 amperes. There is no overload or short circuit in the segment circuit. There is a suppressor diode for voltage limitation in surge voltage and over voltage. There is a polarity reversal mechanism on the module with a diode connected in parallel is protection against polarity reversal.
There is no current consumption from Local Bus UL. An LED light indicates whether the 24 VDC voltage is present. IC220TBK087 is a required terminal strip that contains 10 strips. There is no fuse or diagnostics light on this module. Use a new power terminal to supply the supply voltage UM2. The datasheet number for this module is GFK-1909. The voltages for the power terminal and the NIU are provided by isolated power supply units, which must not be connected to one another. Warning: regardless of the power and/or segment terminal used, protect the power supply externally.
Voltages in the VersaPoint station are each separated by a Power Terminal. If the internal power/current rating of connectors exceeds 2 amperes, a power terminal is required. The power terminals for the 24 V DC area can be inserted in a 120 V AC/230 V AC area. Pay attention to manual caution warnings concerning electrical hazards when handling power terminals.
